YouTube has officially launched a new way to promote DJ sets that go live on the platform.

YouTube, world’s no. 1 video sharing platform, has just launched something exciting for DJs & music fans – the DJ Community. This new feature is all about promoting DJ sets that are live on YouTube.

To show how important this is, YouTube even changed its logo for this launch. On the new DJ Community page, it says you can join DJs as they play music from clubs or their home studios, bringing the party right to your living room.

To kick things off, YouTube put up a special video on its main channel. This video includes sets from eight different DJs:

  1. A-Trak
  2. Flavour Trip
  3. Chris Luno
  4. Book Club Radio
  5. Selena Faider
  6. Elevator Music
  7. Defected Music
  8. Bobby Nsenga

Over the past ten years, more and more DJs have been sharing their music on YouTube. Now, YouTube is giving them a special place to shine. This move comes after Twitch, another streaming platform, also made it easier for DJs to share their sets with their new “DJ Program“.

Additionally, this announcement coincides with the opening day of Tomorrowland 2024. YouTube has also officially announced its partnership with Tomorrowland to live stream the festival.

If you’re curious about this new DJ Community, you can check out the first video in this series on YouTube’s official channel.
