Armand Van Helden gives classic Def Leppard track a fresh update: Listen

Taking on the group’s mid-tempo 1983 hit Photograph, Van Helden keeps the spirit of the original alive while crafting a foundation that is more suited for dance clubs than the guitar rock of the original.

Def Leppard vocalist Joe Elliott remains front and center on the track, while Armand Van Helden opens the remix with a driving house rhythm and filtered vocal sample. Elliott’s repeated delivery of the classic hook is the perfect sing-a-long for crowds around the planet, and the iconic refrain fits perfectly with the house production provided by Van Helden.
