Armin van Buuren anthem ‘Communication’ turns 25 years old
Armin van Buuren iconic anthem “Communication“ has officially turned 25. Originally released on July 19, 1999, as a 12″ vinyl by Cyber Records in the Netherlands, this instrumental composition quickly became a fan favorite and solidified Armin’s place in the electronic music scene. The following year, Armin released a vocal version featuring Carmen Van Den Brakel, further amplifying the track’s popularity.
“Communication” achieved significant success, particularly in the United Kingdom, and was the lead single from Armin’s debut studio album, 76. Over the years, Armin continued to reimagine the track, including the release of “Communication Part 3” on April 2, 2007, as part of his compilation album 10 Years.
Yesterday, Armin took to social media to celebrate this milestone, writing:
“Can you believe it’s been 25 years since ‘Communication’ was released? To celebrate this, I’ve taken over Armada’s Trance Top 1000 playlist to feature some of my favorite trance classics! In addition, I’ll be giving away a signed ‘Communication’ vinyl! Check the link in my stories for your chance to win.”
As “Communication” reaches this significant anniversary, it remains a beloved track among Armin’s fans and continues to inspire a new generation of trance enthusiasts. Listen to Communication by Armin van Buuren below:
