Collabhouse, a music distribution and promotion platform, has announced a contest offering independent artists a chance to win a promotional campaign worth €5000. The competition aims to help emerging musicians stand out in an increasingly crowded digital marketplace.

Founded by Spinnin’ Records creator Eelko van Kooten, Collabhouse is one of the world’s leading music promotion and sync licensing platforms. As part of this competition, they are offering the winner a comprehensive TikTok promotional package. This includes collaboration with the platform’s in-house team of industry experts to develop and execute a strategy involving key influencers. “It’s a highly competitive music industry,” says Andy Berensen, Chief Marketing Officer of Collabhouse. “Our team has years of experience working at the highest levels of the industry, and we’ll share that with whoever wins.”

  3. Collabhouse team curates a list of 10 tracks
  4. Top 10 tracks presented to over 120,000 Collabhouse members
  5. Members vote for their favorite track
  6. Final winner is determined by community votes.

Prizes

The contest’s grand prize includes a €5000 promotional campaign, 12-month Reason+ subscription and a FabFilter plug-in bundle. Nine runners-up will receive the same software packages.

Launched in 2023, Collabhouse distributes music to over 65 platforms worldwide and connects artists with social media influencers. Van Kooten states, “With Collabhouse, artists no longer need restrictive label contracts to succeed. We’re levelling the playing field.”
