Joey Suki’s latest Instagram Post regarding Tomorrowland’s reduced fees with Jay Hardway sparks huge debate as Deadmau5 comments on Instagram.

JoeySuki is an ex-Revealed and Spinnin’ Record artist in the early 2010s who had started his career as a Producer and DJ. He’s known to help artists develop a successful and sustainable career in music under his brand ArtistCoachingNL. Not long ago Joey invited Jay Hardway who has collaborated with Martin Garrix and was signed under Spinnin’ Record to discuss an important topic of artist fees.

A clip on Instagram surfaced of them talking about Tomorrowland artist’s fees and how the fee is often lower than their usual rate. However Joey and Jay when they first ever played Tomorrowland in the early stages of their careers, they expected to pay to perform or perform for a lower fee than usual due to Tomorrowland’s great artist support and organization.

This clip has surfaced Deadmau5 feed and has started a debate about the artist fees at Tomorrowland on the post’s Instagram comments. He disagrees by saying, “Basic EDM cuckery right here. “Yeah I just let them run me over because hey it’s Tomorrowland and my value as an artists doesn’t mean anything to me.” Deadmau5 continues to explain his reasoning by saying artists should know their self-worth and should not undervalue themselves even when it comes to playing the biggest festivals in the world.

Deadmau5 also reveals in the comments that he has been attempted to be booked by Tomorrowland twice for his ‘Cube Shows’, and states “And no, I didn’t take a “reduced fee” for the “honor to play such an amazing festival” so there’s that?” However, both JoeySuki and Jay Hardway reply to Deadmau5’s comments and say, “it’s basic supply and demand, you’re just too much of a headliner to understand lol” and later on ArtistCoachingNL would like to invite Deadmau5 on the podcast to have a deeper conversation about TML’s artist fees.
