In a complete surprise, ISOxo and Knock2 dropped their debut album as their collaborative anti-EDM project ISOKNOCK, ‘4EVR.’

Taking the world by storm the last two years with their highly energetic shows and edgy new sound, San Diego natives ISOxo and Knock2 have solidified themselves as the two leaders for the future of the genre. And while their aura is powerful separately, together, they are unstoppable as their anti-EDM collaborative project, ISOKNOCK. After playing their widely popular set at Coachella this past April and sold-out shows in Seattle and Brooklyn, fans had been demanding to see an official release from the two, and now, out of now, we got it.

Earlier this week ISOKNOCK surprised dropped their debut album 4EVR, in the middle of the night and sent dance music social media into a frenzy. The debut LP includes eight masterful tracks that are unlike anything the current scene has heard before, with thrashing trap beats and unique-sounding production, the project is a bold step that pays off tremendously. The two bring their identity of pushing the boundaries with every track on 4EVR. Starting with ‘THRASH (PARTY STARTER),’ ‘TROUBLE, ‘ENERGY’ with Bantu, ‘PAIN,’ ‘SIGNAL’ with London Mars, ‘BLIND’ with Araya and Sur Black, and closing out with the title track 4EVR with cade clair, this album is best experienced when listening straight through.

You truly experience the energy of the two artists when you don’t skip across the album. You get the beauty of hearing multiple styles throughout 4EVR, from trap, dance-pop, punk rock, bass house, afrobeat, and R&B. It shows how versatile these two best friends can be and the power of their curiosity of other sounds. Along with the album comes a special short film and music video for the title track, both co-directed by Mitchell Mullins and Zach Okami.
