Massive Music Gear Theft Leaves 1,300 Yamaha Keyboards Missing
A significant theft of Yamaha PSR-F52 keyboards has been reported, with over 1,300 units stolen from a container.
This 61-key portable keyboard is a popular entry-level instrument for beginners. The loss is estimated to exceed £100,000. The company believes that, given the large quantity of goods taken, thieves will unlikely try to sell them individually. Instead, they may attempt to offload the keyboards in bulk to music retailers across the UK.

The Yamaha PSR-F52 is a portable keyboard featuring 61 keys, spanning a range of 5 octaves. It includes 144 sounds, 8 drum kits (with 5 World Drums), and 136 voices (with 41 World Voices). Additionally, it offers 158 accompaniment styles and 69 songs built into the keyboard. Its portability is enhanced by its light weight of only 2.8 kgs or 6 lbs. The average price of this keyboard is set at around £79 or $99.
