As “Hypnotic” unfolds, the groove deepens, hinting at what’s to come. An ethereal break, rich with arpeggios, drums, and Gabi’el’s lush vocals, paves the way for a fierce second drop. Just before the thunderous drop hits, Gabi’el asks, “How high can you turn it?”—a perfect lead-in to the explosive synth-driven drop. The call-and-response interplay keeps the track engaging, building up to an electrifying finish.

This satirical anthem delves into the nuanced experience of disillusionment with someone once held in high regard. Thematically, “How The Great Have Fallen” examines projection and the defense mechanisms often used during the trauma cycles of breakups. Kode PinK utilizes their distinctive sound to convey this message, and while they don’t advocate wishing for misfortune on others, they acknowledge it as a common human experience worth discussing. Their unique blend of pop creates a compelling backdrop for this narrative.
