I’m really excited to share what’s coming next; I think people will enjoy the new directions I’m exploring,” says LEHAR.

A DJ, producer, hitmaker and master on the decks, LEHAR can do it all. Growing his name throughout the industry for a number of years now, he is an established star within the underground scene. Sharing a lineup at BEONIX festival with the likes of Fatboy Slim, ARTBAT and Tale Of Us, we wanted to get his thoughts on returning to the festival, what we can expect from the set and much more.

How does it feel to be playing at BEONIX next to some huge names?

It feels amazing to be playing at BEONIX alongside such talented artists. Sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry is always inspiring. It pushes me to give my best and connect with the audience on a deeper level. There’s a great sense of camaraderie and creativity that comes from being around so many talented people, and I can’t wait to bring my own energy to the festival.

What are your first impressions of the festival and the vibe?

My first impression of BEONIX was really positive. The vibe is incredible—there’s this energy in the air that you can’t ignore. The festival has a unique mix of industrial and elegant elements that create a special atmosphere, and the crowd is just as diverse and open-minded. Everyone is there to enjoy the music and have a great time, and you can really feel that freedom and excitement in the air.

What sort of approach will you take with your set at BEONIX? Do you usually plan ahead or base your sets off the crowd in front of you?

This will be my second time playing at BEONIX. Last year, I had an amazing experience playing a 5-hour back-to-back set with my friend Kadosh, and the crowd was incredible—they were really into the journey we took them on. I don’t usually pre-plan my sets too much. I like to have a general idea of the vibe I want to create, but I prefer to let things flow naturally and see where the crowd takes me. Improvisation keeps the energy fresh and makes each set unique.

Aside from this huge upcoming performance, LEHAR has many other projects up his sleeve, including more hit releases and managing his own label, Multinotes.

Moving onto your releases, can you tell us about your latest releases and what fans can expect from your music in the next few months?

I’ve been experimenting with some new sounds lately, blending deep melodic elements with more experimental vibes. In the next few months, fans can expect some exciting new releases that explore different musical landscapes. I’ve also been working on a few collaborations that I think will bring a fresh twist to my music. I’m really excited to share what’s coming next; I think people will enjoy the new directions I’m exploring.

What is your creation process like in the studio? How do you approach a new idea?

My process in the studio is pretty flexible. Sometimes, ideas come out of nowhere, maybe while I’m listening to an old record or just messing around with new sounds. Other times, it takes a bit more experimentation to find the right direction. After 15 years in this industry, I’ve learned that creativity doesn’t have a set formula—it’s about staying open to inspiration and allowing the music to take shape naturally.

Aside from playing sets and producing, you’re also a label owner. Can you tell us more about the Multinotes concept and what makes it unique?

Multinotes is a project that I started with Musumeci and Stereocalypse six years ago. The idea was to create a space where artists could explore different musical directions without feeling boxed in by genres. Now, as I’m taking the label forward, I’m focusing on pushing those boundaries even further. What makes Multinotes unique is our commitment to artistic freedom—we’re all about giving artists a platform to express their true selves and explore new sounds.

Why did you want to start your own label?

Starting my own label felt like a natural step for me. I wanted to create a space where I could release my music and support other artists who share a similar vision. It was about having the freedom to explore new ideas and not be limited by what’s popular or expected. I wanted Multinotes to be a place where creativity knows no bounds, and where artists can feel free to experiment and grow.

What is next for LEHAR as we enter the final few months of 2024?

As we head into the final months of 2024, I have some exciting projects lined up. I’m planning to release more new music that continues to push the boundaries of my sound. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with some incredible artists, which I think will bring new energy and ideas into my work. On top of that, I’m focusing on growing Multinotes and curating some unique releases that reflect the evolving scene. And, of course, I’ll be out on the road playing gigs—I’m excited to connect with fans and share this new chapter of my music with them.
