Porter Robinson delivers career-spanning set on SMILE! :D World Tour

Porter Robinson is celebrating the release of his third album, SMILE! 😀 with a massive world tour. The tour kicked off at the end of August and sees the North Carolina producer celebrating every era of his career.

Despite initially bursting onto the electronic music scene with a burst of dubstep anthems, Porter Robinson has evolved into an artist more concerned with realizing his own visions than engaging with modern music trends. When his debut album Worlds was released 10 years ago, it shocked the electronic music community but revealed the emotional depth of the young prodigy. A decade later, Robinson delivered his third album SMILE! 😀 while once again bucking trends and even fan expectations, instead providing a guitar-driven collection of soul-searching honesty. Now he his bringing all of these styles, sounds, and feeling son the road over the next few months.

When fans arrive at the SMILE! 😀 World Tour they will experience Porter Robinson’s new album in full, live, and in person. Each night, he gets things started with a full play-through of the new album, delivering the music with a virtual pink city skyline behind him, a nod to the music video for his single Cheerleader. Act two of the set sees the stage design and colors evolve, as Porter dives into songs from Nurture, providing fans the chance to hear favorites such as Get Your Wish and Look At The Sky.

For the third act, Robinson looks back to his debut album, celebrating a decade of Worlds by performing fan favorites such as Sad Machine, Goodbye To A World, and more. No Porter Robinson show would be complete without his massive collaboration with Madeon, the global hit Shelter, which comes at the start of the encore. Wrapping things up, Robinson delivers Cheerleader, the infectious single that kicked off this new era for the producer. With dates running through March of 2025, there is plenty of opportunity to catch Porter Robinson on the SMILE! 😀 World Tour.
