RÜFÜS DU SOL set to release fifth studio album Inhale / Exhale on October 11

Acclaimed electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL is gearing up for the release of their fifth studio album, Inhale / Exhale, arriving October 11 via Rose Avenue/Reprise Records. The first glimpse of the new project comes through their latest single, “Break My Love”, which continues to explore the band’s signature fusion of organic and electronic sounds.

This new album represents a fresh chapter for the trio, blending emotional depth with expansive soundscapes. Inhale / Exhale follows their 2021 album Surrender and promises to deliver the intense themes that have resonated with their audience for over a decade. Themes like love, heartbreak, and euphoria are once again explored through a more mature and intricate sonic palette. “Break My Love”, along with previous releases “Music is Better” and “Lately”, highlights the emotional core of the album, offering a heartfelt reflection on love’s enduring nature.

Accompanied by a visually captivating music video directed by Katzki, “Break My Love” showcases the band’s playful side. The video’s nostalgic heist storyline mirrors the charm and creativity seen throughout the trio’s work, adding yet another layer to their evolving artistic narrative.

Since the release of Surrender, RÜFÜS DU SOL has made their mark worldwide. They earned a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording in 2022 and received further nominations the following year. In addition, the band has captivated audiences at major festivals across Europe, South America, and North America, including memorable performances at venues like Red Rocks and the Hollywood Bowl.

Ahead of the album release, the band will headline San Francisco’s Portola Festival on September 28. They’ll also return to the global stage in 2025 as the sole electronic headliner for Lollapalooza’s South American festivals.
