The Chainsmokers will reunite with Coldplay on new album
The Chainsmokers became one of the most popular acts on the planet thanks to their massive collaborations and feel-good anthems. One of their biggest hits came alongside another group of superstars, Coldplay.
Following the success of The Chainsmokers single Closer alongside singer Halsey, the duo found new freedom to work with other stars as well as sound that appealed to electronic and pop music fans everywhere. For their debut album, Memories Almost Full, they scored one of their biggest hits with help from Coldplay. Their collaboration, Something Just Like This was a smash hit and has currently garnered over 2.7 billion streams on Spotify. With Coldplay set to release their 10th studio album at the start of October, it appears as if Drew and Alex helped write at least one track on the collection.
While not an official collaboration along the lines of Something Just Like This, the Wikipedia page for the new album, Moon Music, lists Alex Pall and Drew Taggart as songwriters for the song, Good Feelings. The track has not been shared as part of the build-up to the October 4th release but it does feature Ayra Starr as well as legendary producer and musician Nile Rodgers. Fans will have to wait til the official release date to finally hear Good Feelings but it is exciting to know Coldplay and The Chainsmokers were working together again.
