Ultra Music Festival has unveiled the cinematic Aftermovie of the 2024 edition, which Final Kid Films directed with so much energy not to be missed

Ultra Miami released an aftermovie of the best scenes from this year’s festival. The 2024 event, which took place from 22 to 24 March 2024, didn’t disappoint festival-goers because of some bad weather. With a cinematic feel, the almost 20-minute film features plenty of music, cheer, and motivational moments from the multi-national festival.

The Aftermovie

UMF brings the biggest names in the music industry year after year, and this year proved to be no exception as well. This year the festival giant came up with a great, almost cinematic aftermovie. For this one, they invited Amsterdam-based film production company Final Kid Fims, who created a truly beautiful capture of Ultra 2024 with their professional editing. But one thing that was very much left out of the footage, or rather not given enough prominence, was the bad weather that hit the area at the time. A memorable moment occurred when they canceled Hardwell’s set, which he and his team had spent 3 months preparing. However, Hardwell showed that even the rain couldn’t stop him at UMF, and he remarked when he finally got on stage, “We f*cking made it babyyy!”. But it wasn’t only the DJs who overcame the bad weather conditions, but also the festival-goers, as many of us saw on social media how people were panhandling in the puddles. It’s also worth mentioning that the Ultra Angels, Ultra’s official dancers, once again delivered a great performance this year, as the aftermovie shows.

The Scenes

There is a lot of good stuff in the video, which combines electronic music. Good vibes, happy people, and lots of nationalities – representing their country with their flags. In addition to the beautiful visuals, they also carefully considered the choice of music. Aaron Hibell was responsible for the music production, and several of his songs lifted the mood of the cutscenes. The tracklist includes Becky Hill and legendary drum and bass duo Chase & Status’ smash hit 2023 collaboration “Disconnect”. There’s no question about the beautiful scenery that Miami provides, but the fact that it’s backed up by drone footage is beyond amazing. Besides Hardwell, of course, other big names from the electronic music industry also appear on the cuts. Nicky Romero, a good example of this, also contributed songs to the recordings. One of the essential figures of techno, Amelie Lens, also performed, just 3 months after the birth of their baby girl Kiki. But there’s also Oliver Heldens/HI-LO, Miss Monique, and Steve Aoki, among others. We should also not forget Dutch star Armin van Buuren, who took to the stage with plenty of ID.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it’s safe to say that Ultra Miami and Final Kid Film did a very nice job of capturing the experience again this year. The footage emanates good vibes, and the motivational speeches heard underneath present a truly meaningful product. Next year will be the 25th anniversary of the festival, so surely this almost 20-minute video will get many people excited to visit the beautiful Miami.
