VINNE discusses main influences, latest single ‘Numb’ and more: Interview

Bringing the absolute heat with each of his productions, VINNE is the true epitome of an act that has dedicated his life into mastering the craft that he is truly passionate about, that of electronic music. Hailing from Brazil, this fast-rising star is more than set on leaving a distinct mark within our community, with each endeavour further advocating the undeniable musical prowess that he possesses. From collaborating with some of the biggest names in the dance scene, performing at major festivals worldwide, as well as entering the Top 101 Producers ranking by 1001 Tracklists, VINNE is well and truly on his way towards global dominance, and we of course, are all for it. With this in mind, we couldn’t be any more thrilled to be joined by the man of the moment, as he discusses main influences and inspirations, the origin of his style of play, garnering support from the elite, performing at a vast array of venues and festivals worldwide, his latest single ‘Numb‘ alongside 3 Are Legend, Ben Nicky and Distorted Dreams, his development as an artist thus far, future plans and so much more.

Hello and thank you for joining us! Could you provide us with an insight on the main inspirations/influences that led to your chosen career pathway in music?

“Thanks for having me, it’s great to be here! My love for music started early on. Growing up, I was immersed in various styles from classic rock to hip-hop, but electronic music is where I found my calling. Influential artists like Daft Punk, Gigi D’Agostino, Deadmau5, Tiësto, and The Chemical Brothers played a huge role in shaping my musical identity. The boundless creative freedom in electronic music really drew me in and drove me to pursue it as a career.”

With versatility a key aspect in the dance industry, we would like to know how your signature sound came to be, as well as your own view on adapting to various genres?

“My signature sound developed from a desire to push boundaries and express myself authentically. It’s a fusion of current influences and my explorations across different genres. Early on, I experimented with blending House, Techno, and Bass Music, aiming to create something energetic and fresh. Versatility is key in this industry, and being able to adapt while maintaining my unique sound has been crucial to my success.”

Paving your way within the dance scene with each endeavour, could you talk us through the recognition you have achieved along the way, as well as an outlook on your journey towards success?

“Honestly, the journey has been nothing short of surreal. Each new project is a chance to grow and challenge myself. The recognition, opportunities to collaborate with my idols, and accolades are all beyond what I once thought possible. All these are testament to the dedication and passion I pour into my work. But more than anything, it’s about connecting with the audience and continually evolving.”

Collaborating with some of the biggest names within our community, we would like to know how rewarding such projects have been, as well as the experience you have gained along the way?

“Collaborating with industry legends has been incredibly educational and inspiring. These partnerships are a dynamic exchange of creativity and knowledge, enriching my skills and pushing my boundaries. The synergy in these collaborations enhances the final product, making it immensely rewarding to see the positive reception from the audience.”

Entering the Top 101 producers ranking by 1001 Tracklists, could you talk us through the overall feel of such an achievement, as well as a further insight into your development as an artist in recent times?

“Making it to the Top 101 on 1001Tracklists was an incredible milestone. It’s a thrill to see my efforts recognized on such a significant platform. This achievement reflects my ongoing quest for innovation and crafting a sound that’s both distinctive and resonant. Lately, I’ve been diving into new production techniques and blending diverse genre influences to create emotionally impactful music.”

Blessing fans alike with your latest release ‘Numb’ alongside 3 Are Legend, Ben Nicky and Distorted Dreams, we would like to know the main thought process behind this production, the overall feel working alongside such iconic acts, as well as the message the track has set out to portray?

“Creating ‘Numb’ was an amazing collaborative effort from start to finish. Working alongside 3 Are Legend, Ben Nicky, and Distorted Dreams was enlightening; each brought their unique flair to the table. We aimed to craft a track that resonates deeply with listeners, particularly during the climactic moments of a set—delivering a modern take on a timeless classic.”

Performing at some of the biggest venues and festivals worldwide, could you talk us through the experience of taking centre stage, any preparations you make before each show, as well as your own view on how audiences may differ from country to country and event to event?

“Performing live is an electrifying experience; the mix of adrenaline and anticipation is addictive. I spend days before a show channeling any nerves into creating new tracks and refining the set to ensure each performance is unique. Each audience and venue is different, which keeps things exciting. From Spain’s love for percussive rhythms to China’s enthusiasm for big drops, adapting to these vibes is what makes each show special.”

With summer season in full flow, we would like to know what the future holds for VINNE, always in terms of new music, upcoming collaborations and live performances?

“The upcoming months are packed with excitement—I’m preparing for a massive tour that promises to be memorable. There are several new tracks and collaborations in the pipeline that I’m eager to release. Additionally, I’m working on a project that explores new sonic territories, aiming to surprise and delight both longtime fans and newcomers.”
