WhoMadeWho unveils 8th Studio LP ‘Kiss & Forget’: Listen
WhoMadeWho, the Danish trio known for blending indie-electronic and dance music, returns with their highly-anticipated 8th studio album, Kiss & Forget. Released on September 13th via their label The Moment, the album showcases a collection of 13 tracks that seamlessly blend genres like house, synthwave, disco, and pop. Moreover, collaborators such as RY X, Blue Hawaii, Adriatique, and Kölsch contributed to this eclectic sound, capturing the band’s ever-evolving style while retaining their youthful energy. This release, following their 2022 album UUUU, marks a major milestone in their long-spanning career.
In the lead-up to Kiss & Forget, WhoMadeWho, consisting of Tomas Høffding, Tomas Barfod, and Jeppe Kjellberg, kept fans engaged with a series of standout singles. For instance, their first single, “Children”, featured the angelic tones of the Vesterbros Ungdomsgård children’s choir, instantly catching attention and earning Pete Tong’s “Essential New Tune” on BBC Radio 1. In collaboration with architecture giants BIG and visual artists like flora&faunavisions, the tour captivated global audiences in cities like New York, Paris, and Copenhagen. Ultimately, their creative vision earned them the “Best Live Performer” title at the 2024 Beatport Awards, further solidifying their impact.
