As the legacy and inspiration of Avicii and his life and music continue to grow, some of his personal items were recently auctioned off for charity. The event raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and continued to reveal the impact and power the producer had on so many lives.
On October 1st, Nybrogatan 32 in Stockholm officially opened bidding on a very exciting collection of items, those owned by Tim Bergling aka Avicii. The Avicii Collection-A Charity Auction showcased 267 items owned by the late producer and DJ made available to the public with proceeds going to the Tim Bergling Foundation. Amongst the items available were guitars, CDJs, a Miami Marlins cap, and a pair of headphones. With bids coming in from over 40 countries, the auction was an unmitigated success, with a 2015 Fender Telecaster amongst the highest-selling items at $23,000.
“It feels fantastic to convey this significant amount to The Tim Bergling Foundation. We are very pleased to see how The Avicii Collection has also appealed to a younger audience. Many here in the hall have placed their very first auction bids today, and it feels very honorable for us to be a part of that.”

The auction itself was held in conjunction with Tim Bergling’s family who donated the items themselves and directed the proceeds to the Tim Bergling Foundation which aims to tackle suicide prevention. Bringing in approximately $695,952, the auction was a clear success and continues to reveal the admiration and joy that Avicii brings to so many individuals worldwide.
