Dimitri’s journey began in the early ’90s, where he painstakingly built a personal collection of vinyl. With this album, he delves into the history of electronic music, particularly the era of Bonzai Records, which shaped techno, trance, rave, and hardcore. Featuring 21 tracks, the album blends his remix work with collaborations, including Creeds, Per Pleks, and Armin van Buuren. Tracks like “Back To Earth” by Yves Deruyter and “The Age Of Love” by Age of Love come to life in their purest form on vinyl, merging nostalgia with a modern twist.
Dimitri’s decision to spin vinyl at Tomorrowland—a festival dominated by USBs and digital files—brings the raw, analog sound back to the forefront. A surprise appearance by Vin Diesel during the festival, where the actor joined Dimitri for their hit “Don’t Stop The Music,” captivated the audience and went viral.
