Paving his own way within the electronic dance industry, Faders acts as the leading psy-trance project of Or Kopel, and ever since its inception in 2006, this act has been able to create a movement that resonates with audiences across the globe. Opting for the powerful, emotive and futuristic aspects of the genre, Faders takes full control of each musical element that advocates his unique style of play, whilst each of his endeavours, speak volumes on the raw talent that he possesses. 

Renowned for his distinct approach towards music production, Faders has set the bar to the highest of levels, and in doing so, he has accumulated millions of plays across various streaming platforms, has garnered support from the likes of Charlotte de Witte, Indira Paganotto, I Hate Models, Scooter and Lee Ann Roberts when just naming a few, as well as having the privilege of performing at major events and stages, including and not limited to Ozora Festival, Burning Mountain Festival, Indian Spirit, VUUV Festival, Antaris Project, Hilltop Festival, TribalTech and Shankra Festival.

Boasting the most immersive of musical repertoire’s, Faders takes full credit for countless singles, remixes and compilations, whilst album’s in the form of ‘Feelings,’ ‘Gathering of Strangers’ and most recently ‘Storyteller,’ all play their own unique role in his emergence within our community. Now part of Shamanic Tales Records – the influential label founded by Astrix – Faders continues to write his own name in the history books, and as time progresses, his legacy evolves in a manner that is hard to go amiss. A true psy-trance connoisseur, we are more than happy to be joined by the man of the moment, as he opens up on his journey within the dance scene thus far; 

Hello and thank you for joining us! Could you provide us with an insight on the main inspirations/influences that led to your chosen career pathway in music? 

I was always surrounded by music since I was a kid, and I naturally felt drawn to create and express myself through sounds. The rave and psytrance culture in Israel during my teenage years had a big impact on me. Seeing how music could connect people, create experiences, and tell stories made me realize that this is what I want to dedicate my life to.

Renowned for your unique approach towards music production, we would like to know the origin of your signature sound and how it has evolved over time?

My sound was born from years of experimenting. In the beginning, I was influenced by the old school full-on sound, but over time I started mixing futuristic elements, cinematic atmospheres, and emotional storytelling. I like to balance high energy with deep feelings. It’s been a long evolution, but I always try to keep it authentic and fresh, never repeating myself.

Releasing music under the most well-renowned of record labels, as well as garnering support from the elite, could you talks us through the significance behind such recognition and the impact it has had on your career thus far? 

It’s a huge honor to have my music released on labels I respect and to get support from artists I grew up admiring. It gives me validation but also responsibility to always push myself further. When DJs like Astrix, Electric Universe, or even big techno artists like Charlotte de Witte play my tracks, it shows me that my music goes beyond boundaries. That recognition opened doors for me worldwide and gave me the chance to share my vision with bigger audiences.

Blessing fans alike with your immersive musical repertoire, we would like to know the main thought process behind your albums, as well as the overall message that they convey? 

Every album I create is a journey. I don’t see it as a collection of tracks but as a story that unfolds from start to finish. The main message behind my music is unity, hope, and imagination. I want people to feel inspired, to escape reality for a moment, and to connect with something bigger than themselves. My latest album Storyteller was exactly about that: using sound as a way to tell timeless stories.

Delivering the most electrifying of live performances on a global scale, could you talk us through your preparation process before a show, and the aura you omit when in front of large crowds?

Before a show, I always prepare mentally and emotionally. I listen to my set, fine-tune details, and make sure I’m in the right state of mind to give 100%. When I step on stage, I try to bring pure energy, positivity, and passion. I don’t just play music—I tell a story and take people with me on the ride. The aura comes naturally because I feel at home on stage. I feed off the crowd’s energy, and together we create something unforgettable.
