Four years ago, we had the pleasure of sharing a heartwarming story about a father and son who found a creative escape during the COVID-19 lockdown. Their project? An awe-inspiring recreation of Daft Punk’s Alive 2007 stage using LEGO bricks. The duo not only channeled their love for music and design into this creation, but they also ended up winning the Grand Prize in a global LEGO competition.

However, despite their victory, another set was chosen for commercial production. Now, this father-son team is ready to give it One More Time—inspired by Daft Punk’s upcoming appearance in the LEGO-themed animated film ‘Piece By Piece’, alongside Pharrell Williams. With the French duo making their own official LEGO debut, the timing couldn’t be better for them to revisit their original project.

This time, they’ve submitted their Daft Punk LEGO set to LEGO Ideas, the platform where fan-created projects can become reality if they gain enough support. With enough votes, this homage to Daft Punk could finally become an official LEGO set available for purchase worldwide. The excitement surrounding this project has already attracted a positive response from the Daft Punk community on Reddit, highlighting a strong crossover between fans of the iconic duo and LEGO enthusiasts.

For Daft Punk fans, this project offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the band’s legacy in an entirely new way. For the father and son behind the building, it’s a second chance to see their vision realized.

Here at We Rave You, we’ve seen firsthand how music and creativity unite communities, and this story is a perfect example of that. If you love Daft Punk and appreciate creativity, you can help make this project a reality by voting for it on LEGO Ideas. The father and son duo is counting on the support of fans to bring their creation to life, and you can cast your vote here. Let’s help them reach the top once again!
