Massive Attack cancel upcoming US tour dates

Just days away from what would have been their first US tour in five years, Massive Attack has canceled the upcoming dates. The announcement was made via a brief Instagram Story.

Fans of Massive Attack were anxiously anticipating the group’s first shows in the United States since 2019. The legendary trip-hop group was set to kick off a run of dates starting on October 17th at Miami’s iii Points Festival before making stops in Atlanta, Washington D.C., Boston, and Forrest Hills, NY. In a short post shared via Stories on the group’s Instagram page, they said that the dates would have to be canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances” and wrapped up by simply stating that they “appreciate your understanding at this time.”

The group has been working hard on delivering climate-focused initiatives for their concerts, as well as vocal supporters of those suffering violence in the region of Gaza in recent months.
