San Francisco mayor officially declares day in honour of Zedd

Zedd was honoured by the city of San Francisco as 12th October 2024 was declared Zedd Day, in his name by the city’s mayor.

October 12th, 2024 will forever be remembered as Zedd Day as it was recently declared so by the city of San Francisco. During a run of sold-out shows at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, the city’s mayor declared the day in the EDM heavyweight’s name much to his appreciation. He was handed a physical proclamation with the mayor’s seal in celebration of his contributions to music and the local community over the years. To mark such a momentous occasion, the Grammy award-winning artist spent the day meeting and talking to some of his most loyal fans, signing vinyl, and preparing for one of his four shows in the heart of the city.

Zedd‘s stellar, two-decade-long career is beyond deserving of such a unique honour. Within that time he has released three incredible studio albums, winning a Grammy award in the process. He has found huge mainstream success with records such as ‘Clarity’, ‘The Middle’ and ‘Stay’, previously working with other prestigious artists the likes of Hayley Williams, Foxes, Selena Gomez, Liam Payne, and Alessia Cara among countless others.
