Basement Jaxx reveals first live shows in over a decade
Following over a decade away from the stage, Basement Jaxx has announced a run of live shows for 2025. The iconic duo will perform at several festivals across Europe in the new year.
Despite limited releases in recent years, the legacy and love for Basement Jaxx remains strong. The UK duo of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe most recently shared a collection of acapella tracks from the group’s back catalog via XL Recordings, but they have now revealed even more exciting news, a return to the stage. Starting on June 21st at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, the duo will headline several festivals across Europe, with the dates wrapping up on August 24th in Cardiff.

In the press release announcing the dates, Buxton stated, “After a few years DJing round the globe, it’ll be great to return to the live stage and the Live Show Experience. To connect to people with life-affirming energy and give people a great time.” The shows will go on sale this Thursday at 10 am via Live Nation with a pre-sale open to fans on Wednesday, November 20th.
