Brook Legends shares new EP ‘Panama’ via Material Records: Listen

Emerging Haitian Panamanian producer and DJ Brook Legends is looking to close out 2024 strong with the release of his new EP. The three-song collection comes to fans via Material Records.

Looking to fuse a variety of inspirations and genres, Brook Legends leans into his Haitian roots, combined with his time spent in the North Carolina scene to craft his productions. With the release of Panama, he delivers three exciting new tracks for fans as he continues to grow his influence upon the industry. Opening up about the collection, Legends says, “My creative process always starts with how I’m feeling in the moment. Hip hop and reggaeton are constants in my life, and they naturally bleed into my music. I aim to give listeners something fresh but nostalgic—a blend that resonates with people who grew up on hip-hop, R&B, and Latin sounds, but also crave that gritty house energy.”

Opening the EP is the album title track, Panama, which allows Brook Legends to showcase his heritage and deliver a Latin-inspired production. Second on the collection is Sandman, where he leans into a hypnotic melody, lulling listeners into a state of euphoria thanks to dynamic percussion. Closing out the EP, Wait provides an ebb and flow of emotion and tension throughout, demanding repeat listens from fans. While Panama closes out 2024, it is just the beginning of more live performances and releases from Brook Legends as he continues to leave his mark on the electronic music industry.
