English electronic music band Crazy P released a new album after 5 years on Friday 29 November. The band announced that they had already finished their 9th album back in March and are now releasing it as a memorial to their deceased member.

The label Walk Don’t Walk released their latest album on 29 October. The band released their last album, Age of the Ego, in May 2019. That album featured 11 tracks, with a total playing time of 1 hour. This has proven to be a difficult year for British electronic music group Crazy P, as they lost their beloved member Danielle Moore in September. The singer, who tragically passed away at the age of 52, was undoubtedly a prominent member of the band. She had a wonderful tone of voice and, because she had a good relationship with music and dance as a child, she has always retained this and contributed much to the musical community. Her former band wanted to honor her for that, because she had worked a lot on this album and they wanted to release it, as a respect to Danielle.

“The album was finished in early March this year; Danielle left us in August. We miss her terribly and it only seems right that we release the record. We’re immensely proud of it, we know Danielle considered it to be some of our best work and would want the world to hear it. We hope you like it.”, added Crazy P’s members.

The newly released, 9th album features 10 tracks. They vary in length, but overall, we get a similar playing time to their previous album, at almost 1 hour. The LP opens with “Any Signs of Love”, featuring a percussive drum machine alongside piano chords. The drum roll sounds follow throughout the album, such as on the track “Not Too Late”. It also includes “Human After All”, released in early November, which was released as an announcement of the upcoming album. The closing track was “Strange Affair”, which took on a real disco sound, with a bouncy beat but an amazing synthesizer use on the lead. However, it is worth mentioning that Danielle Moore’s lovely vocals added a lot to Crazy P’s masterful production.
