deadmau5 brings animated concert experience to fans worldwide with Soundscape

Soundscape, a leading musical metaverse platform for VR and PC, has now released a full concert film of its groundbreaking collaboration with electronic music icon deadmau5. Currently streaming on YouTube, the one-hour virtual concert further offers fans around the world an immersive journey into deadmau5‘s psychedelic soundscapes and visuals.

Initially launched in May as an exclusive Soundscape Presents: deadmau5 concert, the experience redefines digital music. Built with Unreal Engine 5 and enhanced by Soundscape’s Sonic AI transmutation technology, this film takes viewers through a hyper-real audiovisual experience previously available only on Soundscape’s VR and PC platforms.

Eric Alexander, Soundscape’s creator, shared his enthusiasm for expanding access to this unique experience. “Bringing the deadmau5 concert to YouTube allows us to reach an even larger audience,” he said. “Anyone with internet access can now experience this incredible blend of music and technology. We’re thrilled to offer more immersive experiences with major artists next year.”

Following this release, Soundscape plans to team up with electronic music heavyweights Chris Lake and Fisher for another collaboration in 2025, with additional artist partnerships in the works. Recognized with five international XR Award nominations, Soundscape continues to set the standard in the immersive concert world, blending advanced visuals, audio reactivity, and lifelike avatar systems to create a fully interactive experience.

Since its inception in 2017, Soundscape has pursued a vision of transforming fan and artist interactions. Alexander sees this concert film as a new milestone, blending immersive art with cinematic storytelling and bridging virtual and real-world music experiences.
