Arguably one of the most influential collaborations of the year, ‘Finally‘ by none other than legendary trio Swedish House Mafia and pop icon Alicia Keys has been causing quite the frenzy since its release, with both acts adding their respective touches in a bid to further elevate the original house classic by Kings of Tomorrow; and of course, delivering an end product that is quite frankly out of this world. Teased for quite some time, ‘Finally’ arrived in the most emphatic of manners, and in turn, a vast array of producers eagerly took upon the challenge of reimagining this certified hit, with Eran Hersh and Shooma being the latest to deliver a rendition that is truly awe-inspiring.

More than set on leaving a lasting impact within the dance scene, Hersh and Shooma seized the opportunity in producing an afro house rendition of ‘Finally,’ with both acts coming together and fusing their respective ideas in order to create a remix for the ages. Having finalised the first version of the remix during a studio session in Budapest, it was not long until Hersh played it for a live crowd, with the reaction becoming a clear indicator on the excellence behind the remix, and with a few minor additions, the Eran Hersh and Shooma remix of Swedish House Mafia and Alicia Keys ‘Finally,’ can now be considered as one of the most vibrant and fresh house reworks to date.

Released alongside the launch of Hersh’s new label, Vibora Records, this remix arrived with even further added value in terms of what each of these acts have set out to achieve in the dance scene, whilst Shooma himself felt that this was “the perfect opportunity to add our own Afro-house energy” to an already eagerly-anticipated collaboration.
