Day two of Escape Halloween 2024 was a feast of electrifying performances and immersive experiences as the NOS Events Center transformed into a haunted haven for dance music lovers.

Escape Halloween, the world’s largest Halloween festival, took over the NOS Events Center from October 25-26 in San Bernardino, CA for another electrifying edition of spooky, high-energy revelry. This year, Insomniac revamped the venue layout into a maze of haunted stages, eerie decor, and immersive Halloween-themed attractions, drawing thousands of fans into a world where music and mystery collide. Featuring some of the biggest names in electronic dance music, the weekend delivered a lineup packed with adrenaline-pumping performances and unforgettable moments. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from day two.

As festival-goers entered the venue, they quickly noticed the revamped layout of the festival grounds compared to last year’s edition. One significant change was the relocation of the Sewer District over the racetrack, marking the first time this space has been utilized in Escape’s history. Additionally, The Cauldron, hosted by Boiler Room, made its debut, replacing The Sanitarium stage. Crazy Town, which featured immersive attractions such as the flaming cathedral, was also relocated to a new area that made it easier to access for attendees to experience.

Just a short walk away from Crazy Town, the CASA BACARDÍ stage offered festival-goers a lively and refreshing escape from the main stages. Nestled between The Grimm and Feeding Grounds, the lounge offered Halloween-themed cocktails like the spicy Mango Inferno for attendees to enjoy. As guests sipped their drinks, DJs such as Principe Q, Mnylow, Lyon 808, and Joshwa kept the energy high, transforming CASA BACARDÍ into a mini dance floor in its own right.

The CASA BACARDÍ stage also hosted the festival’s official costume contest, where attendees showcased their most creative and haunting attire. From intricately crafted mad scientists to fantasy creatures and supernatural beings, the competition was fierce, with participants going all out for the top spots. Cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd, the contest added a festive, playful energy to Escape’s festival experience, making it a memorable stop for attendees.

As festival-goers ventured deeper into the venue, they were greeted by the powerful sounds of The Grimm stage as industry heavyweights like Ben Nicky took the spotlight, delivering unforgettable performances filled with intense visuals and hard-hitting beats that electrified the crowd. Fans were spellbound as he led them through a pulse-pounding set that energized the entire stage. The Grimm stage continued its high-energy streak with Maddix, who brought an electrifying techno sound that captivated the crowd from start to finish. Tracks like ‘Heute Nacht’ and ‘I’m From Holland’ kept the energy peaking, while his hard-hitting remixes showcased his signature style, balancing raw power with anthemic melodies. Maddix’s set was a standout moment, perfectly capturing the festival’s thrill-seeking spirit and leaving the audience ready for more as the night went on.

Over at the Feeding Grounds stage, Odd Mobb set an edgy tone with deep bass and eclectic rhythms, captivating the audience with an energetic blend of genres. The pulsating beats and infectious energy built the atmosphere perfectly, creating anticipation for MEDUZA’s highly awaited set. Known for their melodic, emotionally charged tracks, MEDUZA transported festival-goers into a mesmerizing soundscape, seamlessly weaving through their hits like ‘Piece of Your Heart’ and ‘Lose Control.’ The crowd was entranced as they danced along, lost in the hypnotic deep house sounds that enveloped the stage, making it one of the night’s standout performances.

As the night progressed, Martin Garrix took center stage at The Grimm, captivating the audience with an explosive performance featuring both fan favorites and new releases. His vibrant energy radiated throughout the venue, igniting the crowd as he unleashed a barrage of hits like ‘Animals’ and ‘Scared to Be Lonely.’ The infectious beats and euphoric drops had everyone dancing late into the night, creating an electric atmosphere that perfectly capped off day two of the festival and offered a thrilling farewell to The Grimm stage.
