Excision and Dion Timmer deliver ‘DABADABADABADABA’: Listen

Coming together for a massive, end-of-year single, Excision and Dion Timmer have shared their highly anticipated new collaboration. The dub and bass-heavy single is great for the dancefloors but also provides a real pick-me-up any time of the day.

Uniquely titled DABADABADABADABA, the track’s title is quickly uttered just before the powerful drop takes over. Arriving via Monstercat, Excision and Dion Timmer delivered the new single just a month after the former’s landmark festival, Lost Lands delivered a weekend of entertainment to the sold-out event. Building upon his legacy within the dubstep and bass community, Excision discussed the new track, stating “It has been a blast playing ‘DABADABADABADABA’ out on tour and festivals this past year. This track always gets a huge crowd reaction! It’s fun making stuff with a different vibe to it while still being hype and energetic. After a long time dropping it, we are excited to finally put it out!”

Dion Timmer provided fans a bit more insight into the creative process behind the track, “‘DABADABADABADABA’ was originally created as the intro for our B2Bs. We wanted to put something down that really makes the crowd go ‘woahhhh’ when it drops live, and I think we hit the right note with this one.” This one will surely be a staple of both artist’s sets for the immediate future, with its massive bass hits and unique use of vocal samples throughout.
