Glastonbury 2025 tickets sell out in 35 minutes
Every year, thousands of fans descend upon Worthy Farm in Somerset to experience the Glastonbury Festival. The 2025 edition sold out quickly, leaving many fans searching for tickets.
There is no shortage of fan frustration with ticketing systems, automated bots, and high event prices and fees. Looking to combat these issues, the team behind the Glastonbury Festival made significant changes to its ticketing system to alleviate some of the stress and improve the experience for fans. Requiring fans to log in a few minutes before the on-sale, they would be randomly placed into the queue, with a progress bar providing information for how long the wait would be. While the new process has received mixed reviews from users, it didn’t stop those who got in from quickly selling out the annual event.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have now Sold Out. Thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those who missed out, on a morning when demand was much higher than supply.

There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2025.
After just 35 minutes, the entire allotment of tickets had sold out, leaving many fans questioning the new system. Online comments such as ‘I never got passed 2 bars despite being on since 8am!’ from Twitter/X user Simon McEvoy speak to the frustration of many, but the prompt sell-out also indicates the high demand for passes. In the event’s post, festival organizers said ‘There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2025.” Stay tuned to Glastonbury Festival social media outlets for news of future tickets being released before the 2025 event.
