Kaskade returns to Monstercat alongside Punctual and Poppy Baskcomb: Listen

Over the last two decades, Kaskade has fortified himself as one of the pioneers and leaders of the electronic music platform. He is working alongside several up-and-coming artists for his latest offering as he uses his platform to lift others.

There is little that Kaskade has not achieved across his incredible career. With iconic solo releases, annual Christmas shows, and spots on the world’s largest festival stages all under his belt, he has shown his ability to connect with millions of fans worldwide. As he continues his storied career, he leans into nostalgia as he returns to Monstercat for his latest offering, Heaven Knows. Assisting on the track is the up-and-coming duo Punctual and vocalist Poppy Baskcomb who provide fresh energy and emotion to Kaskade’s iconic style.

Kaskade discussed the nostalgia baked into the single, stating “This song wasn’t designed to be a time machine but somehow it does transport me back to my earlier days, so if you’ve been with me for a minute on this journey, welcome home! “Heaven Knows” is a song I hope people will enjoy listening to while they’re deep in it. In love, in heartbreak, in anxiety, in calm. It speaks to things that have been as well as things that could be. Working with Punctual and Poppy Baskcomb added so many layers to this one. I’m excited to get it out into the world.”

Poppy Baskcomb’s soothing vocal delivery sits perfectly upon the lush foundation of synths and leads. Kaskade allows her and Punctual to inject the track with their stylings, with the latter stating, “We are super excited to have “Heaven Knows” out into the world, especially as big fans of both Kaskade and Poppy. Poppy was also one of the first people we ever worked with in music, which was about seven years ago now! We’ve both come so far since then, so it’s a special moment finally having a record together!”
