At the beginning of November, Swedish House Mafia released a punchy remix pack by talented producers for their collaboration with Alicia Keys, ‘Finally’

A whole host of up-and-coming talents were able to showcase their skills in the Swedish House Mafia remix campaign. After a long wait, they launched a remix campaign for Finally (released in August) in collaboration with Stems.

The unique campaign, launched by Swedish House Mafia, started in September. In partnership with the platform Stem, they have launched an open-ended and cross-style remixing opportunity for all talented producers. The remix opportunity was launched for ‘Finally’, which had already hit the parties in 2023 but was only released in August this year. The remix pack based on the vocals of multiple Grammy Award-winning American R&B/soul singer-songwriter Alicia Keys dropped on 1 November 2024 with 15 tracks. The remix pack features several different styles of electronic music. Swedish House Mafia is no stranger to remix competitions and campaigns, having done similar projects before. For example, they have launched campaigns for Miami 2 Ibiza, Save The World, and Leave the World Behind, but they have also launched similar campaigns for several other songs.

“The levels of talented producers in this community is incredible and so we’ve released a remix album today, with these 15 remixes we love”, shared the SHM on their social networks.

The remix pack opens with an Axwell cover, which is the second longest of the 15 covers, with 6 minutes of duration. Marlon Hoffstadt follows it with a track featuring strong beats. It also features drum and bass covers from Casiiwool, a new music project that just joined Instagram at the beginning of October. These include YARO, Killen, Prof. Stranger, “Love,Shaun”, K A S E L L, and Channan Payne, among many others. Looking at the genres, it looks like this won’t be the last remix pack. While there is no official announcement yet on whether there will be more of these campaigns, it is interesting to note that no Progressive House remixes have been selected. Last year, for example, they revealed a remix pack for “Ray Of Solar” featuring a Mau P remix.
