ZHANGYE unveils ‘China EDM, Vol. 1’ compilation on Cyanhill Music: Listen

Leading the way in the promotion of Chinese electronic dance music, ZHANGYE has unveiled a scintillating compilation in the form of ‘China EDM, Vol. 1,’ where each featured act has been granted with the golden opportunity of further advocating their immense musical capabilities, and in turn, bless us all with a body of work for the ages. Taking upon himself to showcase the world with the genius mind(s) that grace the Chinese dance music scene, ZHANGYE was inspired by the endless possibilities that derive within our community, and with the industry evolving on the constant, there could not be any better time for this project to come to life.

Combining experience with the hunger to succeed, ‘China EDM, Vol. 1’ features one track each from already established Chinese dance music acts; BEAUZ, CORSAK , Panta.Q, and WILLIM, with the remaining tracks on the compilation selected through an open call for submissions, where the now featured acts were chosen from hundreds of entries. A rigorous process to say the least, ZHANGYE continues to pave his way amongst the elite acts of the dance scene, and when taking into account endeavours of such nature, it is fair to say that his love and passion towards dance music extends way further than on a personal level, when in fact, he has set out to become the advocate for Chinese dance music and its development as time progresses.

Out now under Cyanhill Music, ‘China EDM, Vol. 1’ can be seen as a movement on the progress that Chinese dance music has made, and continues to make to this very day, and through ZHANGYE’s initiative, it has now become even more evident that China does and will boast a vast array of multifaceted acts, with their potential now more than ready to be explored and showcased on a global scale.
