Anyma’s Sphere residency announced as a four-act cybernetic opera
With Anyma’s ‘The End of Genesys’ residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas commencing today, the event itself has been announced as a four-act cybernetic opera, with the use of robotic musicians, groundbreaking visuals and awe-inspiring electronic music, promising for an experience that is quite frankly out of this world.
Edging ever closer to one of the most highly-anticipated residencies in quite some time, ‘The End of Genesys’ presented by Anyma at The Sphere in Las Vegas will be commencing from the 27th of December, 2024 and up until January 11th, 2025, with the afterlife boss himself, set to revolutionize the way electronic music is perceived, and in turn, deliver eleven events that push boundaries at every given chance. Adding to the already immersive concept, and the spectacular support lineup for each show, Anyma’s Sphere residency has been announced as a four-act cybernetic opera, where live electronic music performance will be stretched to its core.
Investigating humanity’s connection with technology, consciousness and existence itself, the structure of the opera follows a clear path on evolution, and in turn, will provide four different chapters that directly relate to the interaction between technology and artistic expression. Setting the foundation with the opening act, ‘GENESYS: The Birth,’ Anyma himself describes the act as “the awaking of a new existence,” before the moving into the second act, ‘HUMANA,’ a raw human experience that focuses on the vulnerability that exists within our nature. Moving onto the third act, ‘END OF GENESYS‘ represents Anyma’s ongoing ideology on Artificial Intelligence and its use in today’s society, before then moving to the closing act, ‘QUANTUM,’ where the possibility of a new form of existence deriving from digital and organic is explored intensely.
Remarkable in every sense of the word, Anyma’s ‘The End of Genesys’ residency will be providing a whole new dimension to live electronic music performances, and what better place to achieve such a feat, than The Sphere, a venue that boasts modern LED displays and an immersive sound system that cannot go amiss. From the inclusion of robotic musicians, such as the first robotic cello duet, to Anyma’s groundbreaking visuals, and of course, a plethora of electronic music that resonates directly with soul, ‘The End of Genesys’ residency is finally upon us, and to put it quite frankly, we cannot wait for this truly immersive experience to finally come to life.
