Avicii documentary ‘I’m Tim’ is now available on Netflix: Watch
Today, December 31, 2024, Netflix released the documentary ‘Avicii – I’m Tim’, which explores the life of the late Swedish DJ and music producer Tim Bergling, globally recognized as Avicii. Directed by Henrik Burman, the film captures Bergling’s rise from a reserved individual to an international music icon.
The documentary includes interviews with renowned artists such as Chris Martin, Nile Rodgers, and David Guetta, who provide unique insights into Avicii’s creative process and the challenges he faced during his meteoric rise to fame. Alongside the documentary, Netflix is also streaming ‘Avicii – My Last Show,’ which showcases his final performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza on August 28, 2016. This concert film brings back the energy and passion Avicii delivered on stage throughout his career.
In October, a charity auction sold a number of Avicii’s personal items to benefit the Tim Bergling Foundation, raising over $750,000 to support mental health initiatives.
Avicii’s death in 2018 at the age of 28 shocked the music world and ignited crucial conversations about mental health in the entertainment industry. ‘I’m Tim’ highlights his personal struggles, the relentless pressures of fame, and the enduring legacy he left in the music world.
Fans can now stream ‘Avicii – I’m Tim’ and ‘Avicii – My Last Show’ on Netflix to delve deeper into the life and artistry of one of the most influential figures in electronic music.
