Underground French producer I Hate Models has released his highly anticipated energetic EP “Forever Melancholia”, featuring 5 tracks

I Hate Models returned with a truly emotional EP after almost 3 years as a producer. Forever Melancholia is now available on almost all Digital Streaming Platforms, published by Disco Inferno.

I Hate Models, also known by his real name Guillaume Labadie, is a French techno powerhouse who has burst onto the underground scene in recent years. He fell in love with electronic music and started to work actively as a music producer around 2016. However, it was the 2020s that brought him his breakthrough success, and since then he has amassed millions of fans worldwide. He has become a truly well-known figure in the electronic music industry, who can be an inspiration to many to see the work invested will pay off. Earlier this year, he launched his “Face II Face” world tour, which sold out in many places, and has recently been extended with dates to 2025. Recently, in November 2024, he started to release tracks from his just released EP “Forever Melancholia”. Disco Inferno, his own imprint, is the label he has chosen for the tracks.

“Remember: music can accompany us in every moment of life; it is there to bring us together, soothe our wounds, transport us elsewhere, and sometimes, quite simply, make us happy.”, shared I Hate Models on his social media.

The EP contains 5 tracks, and while listening to them, the listener may notice a slight change in the DJ/producer’s soundscape. No doubt, this was necessary for a comeback of this magnitude from a business point of view. The fact that they presented the entire album on a huge billboard in Times Square, New York, evidences this. He has chosen a truly strong theme for the album, namely melancholy. In the introduction, he writes that even the darkest soul must know about light. The vocals of the songs reflect this, and almost all of the songs follow this line. Along with the powerful melodies, the aggressive drums of hard techno also carry these feelings. I Hate Models, in addition to the aforementioned tours, will also be performing at Ultra Miami 2025, adding strength to the underground scene.
