

Remembering Maxi Jazz: 2 years since the iconic artist passed
While the end of the year and the holiday season are normally a time for celebration, the tragic passing of Maxi Jazz in 2022 also provides a reason to pause and remember the artist.
On December 23rd, 2022, Faithless singer Maxi Jazz tragically passed away. Renowned for his work on hit songs such as God Is A DJ, Insomnia, and Find A Way, he is a pioneer of the electronic music landscape. In the two years since he passed in his sleep at 65, his legacy has been remembered by fans around the world. As an avid supporter of Crystal Palace Football Club, he was honored at the stadium with a mural and multiple tributes from the club and its supporters. Beyond that, his legacy is being preserved by his former bandmates in Faithless.
This year, the group, led by Sister Bliss, returned to the stage for several festivals and European dates. The return of Faithless to the stage provided the group and its fans the opportunity to celebrate Maxi Jazz and his legacy. With two years having now passed since Maxi Jazz lost his life, it is a great time to reflect back on his legacy and impact on electronic music.
