Breaking away from the traditional EDM landscape, twin brothers MC4D have redefined dance music with their debut EP, ‘Wanderings’. This self-released project combines folk, country, and electronic elements to create a genre they call ‘folktronica.’ Drawing inspiration from Americana artists like Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan, MC4D infuses their sound with storytelling and instrumentation typically found in folk and country.

Tracks like ‘Travel On,’ an adventurous anthem inspired by red-dirt country, and ‘Wyoming,’ a euphoric song for windows-down drives, highlight the seven-track EP. These songs merge powerful beats with melodic hooks reminiscent of Avicii‘s folk-house style, appealing to fans of both country and electronic music. With millions of streams already under their belt, MC4D is rapidly establishing themselves as leaders in a genre they’ve uniquely crafted.

“The ‘Wanderings’ EP reflects not only our musical evolution but also our incredible journeys throughout 2024,” MC4D shared. “Every track embodies the landscapes we’ve explored, from Joshua Tree to Banff, and captures the freedom and wonder those places inspire.”

This year, MC4D‘s momentum has been undeniable. Their viral country-EDM remixes and popular Down Under Mix series have earned over 20 million streams, solidifying their presence on platforms like SoundCloud and social media. Additionally, they’ve crafted official remixes for artists such as Steve Aoki, Flo Rida, and Kesha, amassing 25 million streams globally.

After completing two U.S. tours in 2024 and performing at festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Stagecoach, MC4D has become a sought-after live act. With high-profile collaborations and a new tour on the horizon, this duo continues to push boundaries, creating music that resonates on both open roads and packed dance floors.
