Purple Disco Machine released a new album ‘Club Paradise’: Listen
Purple Disco Machine is back again with an album that is a sort of a sequel to Paradise, released in September. He has now allowed various artists to release remixes of his original 15-track album, which, as usual for him, is aimed at timeless disco sounds.
Purple Disco Machine released the album Paradise in the last half of September 2024. This marked the release of his third studio album, which had been almost two years in the making. It’s no wonder, as he has collaborated with many top artists, such as multi-Grammy-winning American guitarist, songwriter, and music producer Nile Rodgers, and the 20+ year-old Canadian electro-funk duo Chromeo. But there’s also Duke Dumont, with whom he collaborated, along with Nothing But Thieves on vocals, on the track Something On My Mind. Now he has released a follow-up to this remix album called Club Paradise. The Australian indie label Sweat It Out released this album on December 13, 2024, in two parts, i.e., on two discs.
“‘Club Paradise’ is basically the clubbier version of my recently released album ‘Paradise’, and includes club dubs, extended versions, some amazing remixes.”, shared Purple Disco Machine, the German producer and DJ, on his social media.
The first disc contains 14 tracks, with a playing time of over 50 minutes, and mostly lifts mixed versions from the second disc. The second disc features 18 tracks, capped off by the Purple Disco Machine release Get Up 24. This remix album includes an extended version of Substitution, featuring the well-known vocals of Julian Perretta, remixed straight from Birdee. They have also added an Extended version of the Chromeo collaboration Heartbreaker. Braxe&Falcon remixed Something On My Mind, and also Solomun’s name appeared on disc 2 for the same track. But also remixes have been done by The Sponges, Marten Hørger, Erol Alkan, and among others, Hifi Sean, who released a rework of Paradisco.
