When Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd collaborated on Moth To A Flame in 2022, fans of both artists rejoiced at the incredible results. Now, the track has achieved an incredible new milestone on Spotify.

Amongst pop music charts and popularity, The Weeknd has been a massive force over the last decade. His singles such as Starboy, Blinding Lights, and Can’t Feel My Face have made him a staple on the charts as fans continue to stream his tracks at incredible rates. When the Swedish House Mafia members reunited and began to release new music, they tapped the star for one of their first new singles, Moth To A Flame. The incredible track was released in October of 2021 to great fanfare and got an even bigger boost from the duel Coachella headline spots that the two groups shared the following April.

Just over three years later, Moth To A Flame has surpassed a massive achievement on Spotify by achieving 1 billion streams. The groups took to social media to celebrate the moment, sharing several photos and live clips of the incredible track and thanking fans for pushing the single across the mark. For the Swedish House Mafia, it is a rare territory, with only their iconic hit Don’t You Worry Child the only other track reaching the mark. The Weeknd on the other hand has 22 singles over 1 billion streams, showing his dominance on the platform.
