Home Featured Diplo admits live on CNN that he is under the influence of drugs

During an interview on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, American DJ/Producer Diplo admitted to being under the influence of drugs, and LSD in particular, whilst live on TV.

Appearing as a guest on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, American DJ/Producer Diplo admitted to being under the influence of drugs whilst on live TV, as he answered one of the hosts questions on the topic. During the conversation, Cohen asked the artist, “What’s the most conventional place that you’ve done LSD?,” to which the answer was, “Right now. I did some on the helicopter, on the way here.”

A response that the hosts may have not been expecting, but then again, Diplo is renowned for his eccentric lifestyle, this acted as yet another indicator towards the DJs approach to life, and in turn, putting him yet again into the spotlight. Instantly breaking down and laughing, Coopers response was followed by another question from Cohen, who was clearly in shock when mentioning; “You’re tripping right now?” The answer leaned more towards Diplo microdosing during the day, as he replied; “Yeah, but it’s like a light trip.”

Following the conclusion of the interview, Cooper shared his admiration towards Diplo and the “fun, cool lifestyle” of his, before then both hosts interchanging their thoughts on how Diplo will now go to his work and perform like everything is normal. An interesting interview to say the least, Diplo did give a New Year’s Eve live performance at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, where he brought in 2025 in the most spectacular of manners.
