Fred again.. and Chase & Status nominated for BRIT Awards 2025

The BRIT Awards 2025 organizers have released the nominees list, announcing Fred Again.. in the Dance category

The BRIT Awards 2025 will take place on 1 March this year at the O2 Arena in London, where the awards will be unveiled. The varied categories will feature some of the best-known names in the business, with many nominated in more than one category. In the dance category this year, there is Fred Again.., but also many other electronic music producers and duos to celebrate.

The Awards

This year’s BRIT Awards, in partnership with Mastercard, presented the 2025 nominees in a half-hour live broadcast. As in previous years, this year’s list was very broad, giving a glimpse back at the best musical acts of the past year. Although the awards ceremony is still a long way off, taking place on Saturday 1 March, it’s sure to be a big thrill for many. Charlotte Emma Aitchison, a.k.a. Charli XCX, is a good example, as she has the most nominations at the awards. For Ezra Collective, the British jazz quintet formed in 2012, this year has also been a lucky start for them, with 4 nominations, including Group of the Year. Fans will be able to pick the candidates through a public vote on WhatsApp, which opens on 31 January and remains open until 14 February. Later on, the organizers will announce the final winners at the O2 Arena in London on 1 March.

Dance Acts

The Dance category also features plenty of great names whose fans can be justifiably proud. Charli XCX, mentioned earlier, also appears in the Dance Act category, which is no wonder, as she charted several singles off her album Brat last year. Fred Again.., who has been among the nominees for the Brit Awards in recent years, has once again scored more recognition within the Dance Act category. Interestingly though, he recently spoke about looking into teaching opportunities, which many believe could be very inspiring for many students. Also in the Dance category is Chase & Status, the duo of Saul Milton and Will Kennard, who alongside Nia Archives and Becky Hill have also received nominations.
