

Lady Gaga set to release ‘MAYHEM,’ an industrial dance music-inspired album
Releasing her 7th studio album, ‘MAYHEM,’ this coming March, pop sensation Lady Gaga reveals that this 14-track body of work has been inspired by industrial dance music, with various DJs playing their role in its creation.
Edging ever closer to the release of her seventh studio album, ‘MAYHEM,’ pop sensation Lady Gaga has once again gone into further detail behind this highly-anticipated body of work, and it cannot go unnoticed, that industrial dance music has played a pivotal role in its creation. Featuring 14 tracks, Lady Gaga will be returning to her dance-influenced pop roots, with a snippet already provided through two releases made in 2024, those of ‘Die With A Smile‘ featuring Bruno Mars, and ‘Disease.’
Including productions by the likes of Gesaffelstein, Andrew Watt and Cirkut, as well as Lady Gaga herself, ‘MAYHEM’ delves deep into the pop star’s early days, and in her own words; “the album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved.” Working alongside various DJs and producers was also a highlight in itself, with Lady Gaga emphasising to the LA Times how she “loved collaborating with all the DJs and Gesaffelstein on my new album,” whilst also further adding; “I loved learning about industrial music and about all the different crevices of electronic music.”
Remarkable to say the least, ‘MAYHEM’ is set for release on March 7th, 2025, whilst the third single from the album will be dropping on the 2nd of February, 2025, during the GRAMMY Awards broadcast.
