NAMM CEO issues final statement amid LA Wildfire concerns
Just before the world’s biggest music technology expo is set to kick off in Anaheim, NAMM President and CEO John Mlynczak has issued a final statement assuring the safe commencement of the 2025 NAMM Show amid concerns over Los Angeles wildfires.
The NAMM Show 2025 in Anaheim is set to continue as planned while actively supporting Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts. The organization has confirmed that Anaheim remains unaffected by the fires burning in northern Los Angeles, with safe air quality and clear transportation routes between LAX and the convention center.
“We have been in constant contact with our partners and city officials all week,” NAMM President and CEO John Mlynczak stated, assuring that the event’s operations will not interfere with ongoing relief efforts or displace evacuees from hotel accommodations.
In response to the crisis, The NAMM Foundation has pledged $50,000 to establish the L.A. Wildfires Relief Fund. This initiative will provide assistance to NAMM members, their employees, music education programs, and musicians affected by the fires.
The show will feature two dedicated L.A. Wildfire Relief Centers, located in Hall C and ACC North Level 2, where attendees can learn about supporting coordinated relief efforts. “NAMM is first and foremost an association that cares deeply for our members and the global music products industry,” the organization emphasized.
The 2025 show aims to unite the global music industry in solidarity with those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. Attendees can locate the relief centers through the NAMM+ App’s exhibit hall map, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to balancing industry gathering with community support during this challenging time.
