Sasha & Marsh unite for progressive house anthem ‘Dead Synthy’: Listen

Premiered during their Anjunadeep Miami back-to-back set in 2024, ‘Dead Synthy’ marks the first collaboration between progressive house icons Sasha and Marsh. The track delivers a hypnotic blend of warm atmospheres, ethereal vocals, and subtle electro elements, capturing the golden-age essence of the genre while remaining fresh and forward-thinking.

Marsh recalled how the collaboration came together just days before their Miami performance. Sasha reached out with an early version of ‘Dead Synthy,’ which immediately caught Marsh‘s attention. He was drawn to its atmosphere, chords, and vocals, quickly adding a riff, bassline, and drums to shape the track’s first draft. After testing it live, Sasha refined the mix, enhancing its depth and impact. The result is a track that seamlessly merges both artists’ signature styles while offering a modern take on classic progressive house.

For Marsh, 2024 was a defining year. His steady stream of standout releases and a packed touring schedule, including the launch of his ARIA hybrid showcase, cemented his status as a leading figure in the scene. He sold out London’s Outernet and closed Red Rocks under a blizzard, setting the stage for an even bigger 2025. On February 7, he returns to Fabric for his second consecutive All Night Long show.

Meanwhile, Sasha continues shaping electronic music with his genre-blending sets and groundbreaking projects. His score for the Da Vinci Interactive Exhibition, which premiered in Berlin in 2022, earned multiple awards, including Best Immersive Experience and Best Experimental Design.
