Primary DAW: FL Studio
Avicii was an FL Studio user, one of the most popular DAW choices to this day. In an interview with Image Line (parent company of FL Studio), Tim highlighted “I was introduced to FL through a friend and was hooked instantly. It’s so easy and quick to use so after my first project (remixing an old Commodore 64 game called Lazy Jones, later known as Avicii – Lazy Lace), I literally couldn’t shut the program down. Even today – two years and a lot of tracks behind me – it’s still my main production software.“
FL Studio has evolved a lot since Avicii’s demise. You can explore the features of the latest FL Studio version here.
