It’s a premium piece of gear, and its price tag reflects that. Recently, a user on Reddit shared an interesting incident. He ordered from Amazon for a single OP-XY synthesizer, expecting to pay the listed price of $2299. However, upon delivery, they were surprised to find not one, but four OP-XY synthesizers in the package. This lucky Redditor’s comments in the thread have gone mental.
The Reddit thread exploded with comments as people shared their own stories of accidentally receiving free items from Amazon. One user even recounted a similar experience, having ordered a Behringer Swing only to receive four of them. Amidst the excitement, some commenters advised the original poster to delete the thread, which he ultimately did. Another Redditor highlighted “If you’re in the US, it is federal law according to the FTC, that you are not obligated to pay for or return any unordered merchandise. If they notice the mistake and ask you to return the items, you can refer them to your legal right to keep them, but they also are within their rights to close your account and not allow you to order from them in the future.” Eventually, looks like the user kept all four synthesizers, remaining silent about his plans for the unexpected gifts.
