EDC Las Vegas reveals 2025 lineup and event details
Martin Garrix, Excision, and Charlotte de Witte to perform at this year’s EDC Las Vegas 2025
EDC Las Vegas 2025 has unveiled an exciting, jam-packed lineup! It will feature major headliners such as Martin Garrix, Alesso, Chase & Status, and Tiësto, according to the festival’s official announcement. The long list of more than 250 acts is extensive, and the announcement also includes some other interesting details.
The lineup also features an intriguing B2B performance by Illenium and DJ duo Slander, the latter known for their deep roots in the bass sound. Sadly, although bass music has surged in popularity in recent years, EDC will retire the well-known bassPOD stage after this edition. This stage has been home to drum & bass, bass house, dubstep, and trap fans for several years, but they needn’t worry—they’ll find plenty of places to enjoy at the festival.
Dates and Infos
EDC runs from May 16 to 18 this year, and while plenty of time remains, fans have already bought all the tickets. The festival returns to the familiar Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where organizers expect just over half a million people to party. Attendees must be 18+ and meet various entry requirements.
Most of the information was announced during the familiar “Music Through Music” livestream, followed by further details on social media. These revealed—along with a statement from Pasquale Rotella, CEO of Insomniac—that this year’s edition has been named “kineticMETROPOLIS.” According to Insomniac Events, this theme “transforms the festival into a futuristic city of sound, energy, and connection.”
Stages and Lineup
Although some stages are leaving the festival, new ones are taking their place. One of these is UBUNTU, which puts the spotlight on afro house. Interestingly, Skrillex suggested this idea to the event organizer, and although he is not on this year’s lineup, the organizer seems to have taken his advice.
The festival will feature 16 stages, each catering to different genres with unique designs. KineticFIELD, EDC’s mainstage, will host some of the biggest names, including Deorro, Afrojack, Alesso, Martin Garrix, MEDUZA, and Fisher, among many others. There will also be no shortage of B2B performances, such as MORTEN & ARTBAT at kineticFIELD and an Alison Wonderland B2B Kaskade set.
