Opening up in a recent interview with The Guardian, legendary UK DJ/Producer Fatboy Slim revealed his close childhood friendship with the current UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, and how they “still talk” to this very day.

Getting deep and personal in a recent interview with The Guardian, Fatboy Slim (real name Norman Cook) opened up on his childhood friendship with the current UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, as they both attended the same school for five years, and in fact, were even in the same class.

Responding to a question on how they took violin lessons together, Cook mentioned; “I can’t actually remember the violin lessons. But I was in the same class at school as Keir for five years, so I remember him well. He must have been better at the violin than me, because I did it for about one term.” In continuation, Cook shared his thoughts on Starmer’s current position, as “it is quite weird when one day you see someone on the telly and go, ‘Oh look, it is Keir Starmer from 4B.’ I think he’s one up on me by becoming Prime Minister.”

A childhood friendship that has lasted to this very day, Cook went to further explain how he “still talks” with Starmer, and when responding to a question on who is the most famous person in his phone, the legendary UK DJ/Producer stated the following; “The Prime Minister! We still talk. Can you beat the British PM? Or maybe Paul McCartney. He used to be my neighbour. We talked about everything, from putting out the bins to music. He would bring my dog back round if she went missing. He was a great neighbour.”
