Home Featured Justice and Tame Impala grab Grammy win for single

Last year, the dynamic French duo Justice returned with their fourth full-length album. Today they grabbed a Grammy for one of the singles from the collection.

While the Grammy Awards tend to shine the spotlight on the megastars of the music industry during the TV broadcast, the Academy does offer a wide range of categories to celebrate the entire industry. Earlier today, as the winners were being announced, Justice took home the hardware in the category of Best Dance /Electronic Recording. The nomination came for their single Neverender, released on their Hyperdrama album in collaboration with Tame Impala. They faced strong competition with tracks from Kaytranada, Fred Again.., Disclosure, and Four Tet also up for the award.

While the category was full of strong competition, with any track deserving of the victory, the return from Justice last year certainly served as a strong reminder of the duo’s talents and writing ability. With help from Tame Impala, it offered a beautiful collaboration between their pulsing, more gritty productions and the lighter, melodic beauty that the former adds to any project. It is a massive win and we send our congratulations to Justice and Tame Impala for the incredible Grammy victory.
