This series serves as a sonic scrapbook, compiling work from the past six years. Many of the tracks remain in their raw form, untouched by mixing or mastering, offering a glimpse into the duo’s creative evolution. Rather than letting these tracks fade into obscurity, LF SYSTEM chose to release them as a way to document their journey before unveiling their most exciting material yet.
“We wanted to share these mixtapes with no expectations,” they explained. “Instead of letting these tracks gather dust, we saw this as an opportunity to reflect on our journey while gearing up for what’s next.”
Future volumes will showcase a diverse range of influences, from French Touch to pulsing synth-driven soundscapes, while also expanding beyond the disco edits that have defined their signature style.
‘From The Archives’ kicks off an ambitious year for LF SYSTEM, following a successful 2024. They released ‘Lift You Up’ on Ministry of Sound (#1 on US Dance Radio), ‘All I’ve Got’ on Insomniac Records, and a remix of Lenny Kravitz’s ‘Human’. Their North American tour included sold-out shows in NYC, LA, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto, and Mexico City. Festival highlights spanned EDC Las Vegas, Sziget, Smukfest, Vaiven, Hideout, and Project Glow.
Their latest single, ‘Meet Me In The Middle’, dropped in October and received heavy airplay across Radio 1, Radio 2, Capital, Kiss, SiriusXM, iHeartRadio, KCRW, and more, including ABC/George FM in Australia and New Zealand.
